Inspec Company

INSPEC is a company located in Greece, a city named Corinth, near Athens, the capital of Greece.

We offer cost effective and quality services with qualified and experienced professionals in the field of Inspection, Quality audit /Survey & Expediting.

Our scope of work is to help clients to evaluate whether their products, processes and services comply with all the relevant international standards and specific requirements.

Services

Inspection services

- Factory and supplier audit (manufacturer’s background, management system, manpower, production capability, facilities and equipment, manufacturing processes and production lines, in house quality system, laboratories).

- Pre inspection meeting PIM (requirements to be met, assurance on the quality of raw materials, HSE issues, ITP/QCP check, identification of risks, production schedule).

- In factory test witnessing and in process quality assurance (raw material procurement status, production status, Production line evaluation and timeline verification, during production test inspection, traceability, packaging).

- Review/critique technical drawings, design, specification and ITP/QCP documentation.

- Expediting.

- Sample checking (quality check, workmanship check, documentation, field test and measurements.

- Pre shipment inspection before load out (Sign compliance documents before PSI inspection services, perform quantity verification, final random inspection, Package, label, tag, instruction checking).

FULGOR plant) on behalf of Van Oord responsible for reviewing technical drawings and documentation, engineering support, and daily quality surveillance of the manufacturing process from raw materials/goods inwards through to FAT and load out of the final lengths of Inter-Array Cables (38/66 kV submarine cables with interstitial armoured optical fibre cable ) for Sofia Offshore Wind Farm project (1.4 GW).

Platform Cables for Hai Long OFFSHORE WIND FARM PROJECT

FAT on Platform cables XLPE/CWS/HDPE/LSZH 1 X 630 mm2 127/220 kV according to IEC 62067 and XLPE/CWS/HDPE/LSZH 1 X 400 mm2 38/66 kV according to IEC 60840 for Hai Long Offshore Wind Farm Project (1.05 GW).

Inter Array Cables for DOGGER BANK PHASE A AND PHASE B WIND FARM PROJECT

Factory Site/Quality Inspector based at Cable Factory (Hellenic Cables S.A., FULGOR plant) on behalf of SSE (Scottish and Southern Electricity) responsible for reviewing technical drawings and documentation, engineering support and daily quality surveillance of the manufacturing process from raw materials/goods inwards through to FAT and load out of the final lengths of Inter-Array Cables (38/66 kV submarine cables with interstitial armoured optical fibre cable ) for the Dogger Bank Offshore Wind Farm project located at North-East of Scotland (2 X 1.2 GW – The world’s largest offshore wind farm).

Inter Array Cables for SEAGREEN WIND FARM PROJECT

Factory Site/Quality Inspector based at Cable Factory (Hellenic Cables S.A., FULGOR plant) on behalf of SSE (Scottish and Southern Electricity)/SWEL responsible for reviewing technical drawings and documentation, engineering support and daily quality surveillance of the manufacturing process from raw materials/goods inwards through to FAT and load out of the final lengths of Inter-Array Cables (38/66 kV submarine cables with interstitial armoured optical fibre cable ) for the Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm project located at North-East of Scotland (114 turbines, 1075 MW – Scotland’s largest offshore wind farm when completed).

FAT on flexible MV cables 38/66 kV designed for wind turbines at PRYSMIAN (Draka- Germany) for Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm on behalf of SSE/SWEL.

FAT and Type Tests on back to back Offshore Joint Size 3A SEANEX and plug in Size 3A SEANEX cable connectors, 72.5 kV, PFISTERER for Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm on behalf of SSE/SWEL.

KAFIREAS LAVRIO INTERCONNECTION – TERNA ENERGY PROJECT

Routine Tests, Type Tests and FAT on composite cable CU/XLPE/PB/SCPE/PPY/SSWA & HDPE Rods/PPY 3 X 1500 mm2, RM (Cu), 87/150 (170) kV and CU/XLPE/PB/SCPE/PPY/SSWA & HDPE Rods/PPY 3 X 1900 mm2, RM (Cu), 87/150 (170) kV cables with three (3) fibre optical cables on behalf of TERNA ENERGY.

SHENZI Boosting project

Inspection and control activities during procurement of materials, manufacture, and testing of medium voltage (MV) Power cores to be used in MV submarine power cables 8.7/15 kV for power umbilical at Nexans Sub-Supplier Hellenic Cables S.A. for the SHENZI Boosting project on behalf of NEXANS NORWAY AS.
